Home school agreement

Our Home School Agreement is agreed and signed by children, parents and staff.

The School will...
  • Encourage all children to do their best at all times in a safe and happy environment that helps learning
  • Encourage all children to take responsibility for their belongings and the school environment
  • Develop high standards of work and behavior through building good relationships and a sense of responsibility. Children will always be asked to tell adults if they have a problem
  • Deliver an interesting and stimulating curriculum, including after school clubs and curriculum related outings
  • Inform parents about the quantity, frequency and expectations of homework to match the child’s development which often adds to work being done in the classroom
  • Inform parents at regular intervals about their child’s progress and if there are concerns we will notify parents immediately
  • Keep parents informed about what is happening in the school.  We will tell parents about their learning through school/class newsletters and give adequate notice of class outings, assemblies, events etc
  • Monitor attendance and punctuality by working  with education welfare services to ensure all pupils attend on time every day
As parents/guardians the family will...
